These works were created for Professor Fine’s epic exhibition on the history, culture and art of the Samaritans. Four paintings are in this series. It depicts the Samaritan version of the Book of Joshua that made its way into the West, became a midrash and wound up in Louis Ginzberg’s Legends of the Jews. The fantasy elements were augmented to my own visual interests.
